James Edward Williams

James Edward "Jim" Williams, 76, of Floyds Knobs, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was a member of Graceland Baptist Church, a member of JC's Bunch of the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA), and the ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Towards Education) Region 9.
He was born on July 18, 1942 in Marengo, Indiana to the late Julian and Sylvia "Fern" (Roby) Williams. Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Patricia "Pat" (Sisson) Williams; step-son, Joseph Ertter; and brother, John "Mike" Williams.
Jim is survived by his; children, Scott Williams, Terry Williams, Bridgett Williams, Susan Leister (David), and Greg Williams; step-children, Michele Brosius (Dan), Jessica Ashlock (Jay), and Matthew Lopp (Dana); 20 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Dean Williams (Cindy) and Terry Williams (Cathy).
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 1PM to 8PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, IN 47150). Visitation will continue from 10AM until the time of service on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Graceland Baptist Church. His Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM at the church with burial to follow in Abundant Life Memorial Gardens.
