James Bruce Watson

James Bruce "Tex" Watson, 81, passed away on June 25, 2017. He was an Airman 1st Class with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. James retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company were he was employed as a fixer. He was also a 1972 NHRA C-Dragster national record holder. He was an accomplished large mouth bass fisherman and enjoyed his trips to Florida.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) from 2pm-5:30pm with a celebration of James life from 5:30pm to 6pm.

A graveside service will be Monday, July 3, 2017, at 11am at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY.
