James Robert "Jim" Wardrip, 71, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. He had a life-long career as a first responder and was a man of faith that helped spread the gospel. Jim was the Assistant Pastor at Calvary Apostolic Church. Jim loved music and could make a guitar sing. He will be deeply missed.
He was born on August 13, 1950, in Columbus, Indiana, to Robert and Mary (Martin) Wardrip. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Kelley Wardrip; and daughter, Lora Gallardo.
Jim is survived by his wife, Twyla Wardrip; children, Marilynn Maurer and Josh Wardrip; grandchildren, Bradley (Bre), Samantha, Chase, Tabatha, Robert, Joey, Samantha, and Ricky; and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions was entrusted with his care. A memorial service will be announced at a later date at Calvary Apostolic Church.
