James Cleon Vaughan

James Cleon Vaughan , 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. James was a Ham Radio Operator K4TXJ and proud Navy Submarine Veteran. Active in PRP Masonic Lodge and Kosair's Shriners.

He was born on November 28, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to Thomas and Mary (Livers) Vaughan. He is preceded in death by his Father, Thomas Homer Vaughan, Mother, Mary A Vaughan, and Grandson, Jason Anthony Vaughan.

James is survived by his loving Wife of 61 years, Marian Vaughan; Son, James T (Robin) Vaughan; Grandson, Matthew Ryan (Lindsay) Vaughan, as well as a host of Grandkids, Great-Grandkids, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
