James Adam VanHoose, 26, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. He was born on March 2, 1995 in Louisville, Kentucky. James attended Shelby County High School. He was employed at Ford Kentucky Truck plant. James fiercely loved his kids and family. James loved to fish and hunt, which he learned from his dad Scotty at a young age. James loved to be funny and joke around. He told everyone he got his good looks and style from his momma Rita. James was hardworking and often helped on his mom's Bee Farm. James loved his sister Ruthie, protecting and defending her as only a big brother can. James had an adventurous soul, loving amusement parks and new experiences, things he loved sharing with his children and niece. James is preceded in death by his grandparents Richard "Dickie" Allen and Mary Young and his uncle Joseph "Joe" Young.
James is survived by his loving parents Amy (Tracy) Christiansen, Rita (Vicki) Young and Scott VanHoose. Along with his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jasper and Sophia; niece, Melanie; sister, Ruth Marie VanHoose; grandparents, Yvonne "Bon" Allen, and Sharon and Johnny VanHoose; aunts, Becky (Robin) Allen, Rachel Young, and Yvonne Young; uncles, Billy Young and Trenton (Stephanie) VanHoose; and a host of cousins, extended family members and friends.
James brought much love and joy to those who knew him. He is and will always be missed.
Visitation will be from 9am to 12pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of James life will be held there at 12pm.
