James Herman Timberlake

James Herman Timberlake, 60, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was an employee of LC Nadorff & Son and a member of the American Legion Post 28 and VFW Post 3281. Jimmy was an avid fan of the Indiana Hoosiers and enjoyed doing karaoke.

He was born on September 26, 1961, in New Albany, Indiana, to Alfred, Sr., and Thelma (Bennett) Timberlake. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his siblings, Norman Timberlake and Mary Diane Wright.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Steven Timberlake; siblings, Charles Timberlake, Helen Mundy (Ryan), Susan Beaven, Donna Pellman (Michael), Nathan Timberlake, Elizabeth Storms, Terri Parker (Robert), Alfred Timberlake, Jr., Gary Timberlake (Diellen), and Larry Timberlake (Selena); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions (3309 Ballad Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
