James Lee Tetrick, 66, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017. He was a United States Air Force veteran and retired from Colgate Palmolive. Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved his granddaughter, Patcience, as well as his pets, Ellie, Sadie, Scooby, and Maggie. He attended Landmark Apostolic Church in Corydon, Indiana.
He was born on June 23, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George and Dorothy (Simpson) Tetrick. Jim was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Tetrick.
Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vickie (McNeal) Tetrick; son, James Tetrick; granddaughter, Patcience; siblings, Sam Tetrick (Barbara), Don Tetrick (Lisa), George Tetrick, Nora Tetrick, Susan Tetrick, Sherrill Tetrick, Dorothy Huttsell (Dale), Karen Tetrick, David Tetrick (Theresa), Paula Hanlin (Doug); and a host of niece, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 10 AM. His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
