James Allen Smith

James "Smitty" Allen Smith, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 27, 2018.

James was born on October 18, 1946, Louisville, Kentucky to the late Frank Smith and Macie (Hardin) Smith. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Frankie White.

James is survived by his wife of 16 years, Janice (Johnson) Smith; mother, Macie (Hardin) Smith, sister, Joyce (Gene) Webster; children, Allen (Gina) Smith, Richard (Christal) Allen, II, Teresa Brinley and Tammy (Dustin) Louden; sister in law, Theresa Turner; grandchildren, Nicole and Nick Bohn, Dennis and Andrea Smith, Bryttny Cole, Kelsey and Terry Hiser, Brian Kirby, Kaylee and Hunter Yeager, Ben and Skyler Allen; great grandchildren Christopher Kuriger and Jaxson Cole; and a special nephew, David Johnson.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
