James Brian Powell, 61, of Fredericksburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. Brian was a proud veteran of the United States Navy who served in the Gulf War during Operation Desert Storm. He had a very extensive knife collection and loved his cats. He was a faithful member of Parkway Southern Baptist Church.
Brian was born on October 28, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Wilma Higgins Powell. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Vicky Powell.
Brian is survived by his loving sister, Cassandra Doreen (Larry) Cox; and his nieces & nephews.
A Graveside Service with full military honors will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Greenville (Greenlawn) Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.
