James Douglas Philpott, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 8, 2020.
James was born on December 25, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Philpott; and his father, George Philpott.
James is survived by his son, Bryan D. Philpott; mother, Ruby Philpott; sisters, Sharon Craven (Bobby), Carolyn Phelps (Charles) and Darlene Wilhoyte; grandson, Aaron Philpott.
Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a service to honor the life of James to follow at 2 pm at the funeral home.
