James Clyde Moore

James Clyde "Sinky" Moore, age 82, passed June 15, 2017 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was born December 1, 1934 to the late Marvin and Bessie Moore. He was joined in union to Mary Frances Moore on August 8, 1959, celebrating 57 ½ years of marriage. James is retired from C. Lee Cook Corporation, where he worked for 32 years. He became a member of the Jehovah Witness in the early 1960s. He is looking forward to God's Kingdom that is promised in the Bible at John 5:28-29. He was also preceded in death by his son, Thomas Moore.

James leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary Moore; children, Don R. Moore (Angie), Cheryl Ellery (Sean), Cathy Moore, Sonya Minor and Laron Minor; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; siblings, Roy Moore (Bessie), Marvin R. Moore (Barbara), Dorothy Yocum (Benny) and Alice Hamilton; many nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3-6pm Monday, June 19, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of James' life at 6pm.
