James William "Jim" Meagher, 85, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Jim was a proud veteran of the United States Navy who served during the Korean War. He enjoyed woodworking, square-dancing, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was born on May 27, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Thomas & Rose Meagher. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his many brothers & sisters.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Patricia (Feldpausch) Meagher; children, Jim Meagher (Carolyn), Mary Beth Brightwell (Eric), Mike Meagher (Sueann) and Joe Meagher; sister, Patsy Tierney; and his 7 grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen following Jim's wishes.
