James Mcnutt

June 6, 1937 — January 7, 2014

James "Randell" McNutt Sr., 76, of Louisville, passed away January 7, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 6, 1937 in Louisville to Rocky and Mary McNutt. Randell enjoyed working on old cars and attending car shows. He was employed at Hartlage Fence Company for over 50 years. Randell enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren Tristan and Damian. He was an amazing man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Besides his parents, Randell is preceded in death by his brother Donnie McNutt and sister Peggy Martin.

Randell is survived by his children Brian (Chris) McNutt, Randy (Denise) McNutt, and Charity "Sam" (Nick Johnson) Augenstein; 7 grandchildren: Brad, Amy, John, Kimberly, Damian, Tristan, and Nicholas; 1 great-grandchild Jacob; 6 siblings: June, Della, Vera, Susie, Doris (David), and Tommy; brother-in-law Larry Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 from 3:00pm – 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10:00am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Hospital, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or Hosparus.
