James Martin Fullenlove, Sr.

August 6, 1954 — January 3, 2015

James (Jim) Martin Fullenlove Sr., 60, died Saturday, January 3, 2015.

The University of Louisville graduate was an assistant project manager for Elite Homes, a firearms instructor at Knob Creek for over 18 years and a former officer for the Kentucky State Police and city of La Grange Police. The Army veteran was also a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Southeast Christian Church.

Jim was very proud of his involvement in both Extreme Home Makeover projects in Louisville, benefiting the Hughes and Lampe families. He had a wide variety of interests, including Boy Scouts of America, family genealogy, photography, fishing, golf, radio-controlled airplanes and cycling.

Survivors include his children, Sarah Fullenlove Meadows, Rebecca Johnson, Jamie Fullenlove and Rachel Rodriguez; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Jayne Foley and Judy Jackson and his fiancée, Judy Day.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Middletown from 2:00pm until the time of the service at 7:00pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trooper Island Camp Inc., Dale Hollow Lake State Park Road, Burkesville, KY 42717.
