James P. Lewis, Sr.

James P. Lewis, Sr. , 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018. James was a collector of many fine things. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He also enjoyed fishing. He was a very giving person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was born on May 6, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Theodore and Wanda (Easley ) Lewis. He is preceded in death by his Father, Theodore Lewis.

James is survived by his Wife, Tamra Lewis, Mother, Wanda Asch, Daughter, Sarah (Shilo) Rayburn, Daughter, Amanda "Mandy" Lewis, Son, James P. (Maria) Lewis, II, Grandchildren, Anthony Rayburn, Anastasiya, Dylan and Victorya Lewis, Siblings, Charles (Susan) Lewis, Donald Lewis, Barbara Pierce, Kim Lewis, Michael (Markitia) Lewis, Niece, Tosha Lewis, Nephews, Donnie Lewis, Cody Sams, and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
