Ray, James, L. "Jimmy",69, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 23, 2014. He served as a Gunner's Mate in the US Navy. James worked at Tube Turns, JCPS, Glenmary Country Club, Bluegrass Lawn & Garden, and his garage. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Anna Ray. James is survived by his loving wife, Donna Ray; children, Todd Ray, Christy Ray and his dog, Titus; grandchildren, Samantha, James, Denise and Stephanie Ray; great-grandson, Josiah; siblings, Charles Edward Ray(Charlotte), Marlene Sheehan, Donald Ray (Nancy), Gary Ray, Kathy McKenna(Charlie), and Daniel Ray(Harriet).Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, February 26th at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Lou, Ky 40272). A Funeral Service to honor the life of Jimmy will be at 8:15am Thursday, February 27th, Visitation will resume Thursday from 9-11am at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery-Central.
