James "Jimmy" Dallas McAtee

James "Jimmy" Dallas McAtee, 75, passed away on March 28, 2025.  He loved going fishing, listening to music, exercising and barbequing with family and friends.  He was known for the great up keep of his car. Jimmy retired from GE and was always a hard worker. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Katherine McAtee; uncle John Mason, Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memories his sons, James Dallas (Lorenta) Smith and Harold McAtee; grandchildren, London Leblanc, Kiaya Leblanc, Harold Alexander, Jahara Alexander and Sidney Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Visitation will be Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10am-12pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, with a celebration of Jimmy's life beginning at 12pm. 

A graveside service will follow at Green Meadow Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY.
