James "Jim" Riggs

James "Jim" Riggs, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Jim worked at Evans Furniture for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 89.

He was born on June 16, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky to Beatrice and Leonard James Riggs. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Beatrice Riggs, Father, Leonard James Riggs and Brother, Richard Riggs.

James is survived by his children James Riggs, John Riggs, Sister, Shirley Huff, Brother, Jerry Riggs, Grandchildren, Lilly Riggs and Max Riggs.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
