James Heaton, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 25, 2017.
James was born on June 15, 1947 in Shelby County, Kentucky to the late John and Margaret Heaton. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Wanda Jean Heaton, Thelma Heaton, Doris Smith and Nancy Catlett.
James is survived by his daughter, Sue Ann Barnes (Miller); siblings, Linda, Bob, John and Vic; grandchildren, Jonathan Barnes and Nicholas Barnes; great-grandchildren, Alayna Barnes and Zoey Barnes; special friend, Darrell Girdley (Christy)
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) A Funeral Ceremony to celebrate the life of James will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery.
In loving memory of James, memorial contributions may be made to National Down Syndrome Association, www.ndss.org.
