James Russell Harris Jr.

James "Baebae" Russell Harris Jr., 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026. 

He was born on March 10, 1954 in Panama, Florida to James and Gerdistine (Fisher) Harris. He is preceded in death by his Father, James Russell Harris, Sr., Mother, Gerdistine Harris, Bonus Mother, Pauline Harris, Brother, Peewee Harris.

James is survived by his loving family, Son, James L. Ford, Daughter, Laneshia S. Arnold, Grandchildren, Stephanie Watson, Jervonte Arnold, Deserai Arnold, Jazzmyne Ford, Mackenzie Ford, Great-Grandchildren, Jeremiah, Ja'Niyah, Jer'Riyah, Ja'Dyn, and Ayana, Brother, Wendell Harris, as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
