James Harrington

James "Jim" Harrington, 73, passed away on October 21, 2015. He was a proud U.S. Marine Corp veteran and a member of English Baptist Church. Jim was a devoted husband to his wife Virginia; loving father to his 4 children and a proud PaPaw to his grandchildren. He was an avid U of L cardinal fan and especially loved to cook for his friends and family with his special recipes. His grandchilden loved to get his bear hugs.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Harrington.

Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, Virginia Harrington; children, Tim Harrington, Regina Carbone, Debra Ramey and Todd Harrington, 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Wompler and Phyllis Harrington; brothers, Billy Harrington and Buddy Harrington.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 25, 2015, from 2pm-6pm EST (1pm-5pm CST) and Monday, October 26, 2015, from 10am-3pm EST (9am-2pm CST) at English Baptist Church, 335 N. Ammons, Stephensport, KY with a celebration of Jim's life beginning at 3pm EST (2pm CST). A graveside service will be on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 11am EST (10am CST) at Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery, Radcliff, KY.
