James W. Handy, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. He was born on November 10, 1931 in Estill County, Kentucky to the late Chester and Stella Handy.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Handy and a brother, Kenneth Handy.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, James Handy, Tim (Robin) Handy and Raymond Handy; grandchildren, Kristina Marie Hurt and Amanda Handy; great grandchildren, Jonah Hurt and Isaac Hurt; and a sister, Joyce Arvin.
James will be laid to rest at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central), in Radcliffe, Kentucky.
