James "Wayne" Geary

James "Wayne" Geary, 63, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Wayne loved farming, listening to music, annoying his sisters, and spending time with his children.

He was born on April 17, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James and Lucille (Owen) Geary. Along with his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his siblings, Michael Geary and Venita Schmidt.

Wayne is survived by his children, Joshua (Shannon) Sinclair and Layne Delp; grandchildren, Scotty (Haley) Baize, Charrissa (Derek) Stilts, and Christian (Taylor) Stilts; great-grandchildren, Asher Baize, Kendal Keisler, Grayson Stilts, and Ashtynn Baize; siblings, Margaret (Randy) Knox, Sheila (Dwayne) Mitchell, and Ruby Geary; step-mother, Thelma Geary; step-siblings, Jody Vannatta, Susan Baker, and Linda Showalter.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, his Funeral Service will be held privately with cremation to follow according to Wayne's wishes.
