James Oliver Ferebee, IV

Pamela Ferebee regrets to inform you of the passing of her oldest grandchild, James Oliver Ferebee IV.

James, known at home as Jamie, and at work as “Boots”, was born on June 28, 1997 to James Ferebee III and Amy England Ferebee in Louisville , KY. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James O. Ferebee Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Anastasia Ferebee, his parents, grandmothers, Pam Ferebee and Louise Blade Ferebee, brothers Ethan ( Keyaira) Ferebee and Cameron ( Kaitlin) Ferebee, sister, Keyra Ferebee, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

When Jamie was younger, he would go on random job sites with his grandfather to do electrical work. It led to a love of figuring out how things worked. It was not unusual to find out he had taken something apart and put it back together again. It prepared him for when he worked at Magna, as a team lead and part of the UAW 3058, since 2017. Jamie was very happy to become a father and Ana was his world. He would make sure he face timed her every week. He also loved watching anime and was learning Japanese on Duolingo.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1pm-7pm with a celebration of James life beginning at 6pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
