James Louis Fenwick

September 16, 1954 — July 18, 2017

James Louis Fenwick, 62, loving husband and father, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. He was a genuinely good person, always there to help anyone in need. Jim was also ready to put everyone to work and was known by many as "The Old Man."

He was born on September 16, 1954, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Stanley "Pert" and Dorothy (Wieseka) Fenwick. Jim is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jenny (McKnight) Fenwick; sons, James Fenwick and Bradley Fenwick; and stepson, Paul Wood (Bobbie).

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. His Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Atkins Chapel Cemetery in Floyds Knobs.

Contributions in Jim's memory may be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
