James Erik Hord

James Erik Hord, 45, of Louisville, passed away on October 31, 2015. Erik was born in Louisville on May 6, 1970, to James and Bette (Peckenpaugh) Hord. He loved being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and going to Knob Creek Gun Range. He also enjoyed hiking and was an ATV enthusiast.

Erik was preceded in death by his mother, Bette and brother, James Gordon Hord, Jr. Survivors include his daughters, Christina (Austin) and Jamie Erika Hord; grandson, Talon Lindsey; sisters, Jere' Smith (Worm) and Kristina Collie (Shad); brother, Garrett Wade Hord; father James Gordon Hord, Sr.; ex-wife and mother of his two daughters, Angela Graves; several nieces and nephews, and the Perry and Hoover families who were always there for him.
