James Edward "Ed" Bowling, age 79 of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016. Ed was a retired truck driver and a US Navy Veteran, with a love of God, country and family. He was preceded in death by his wife Roberta; his parents, Matthew and Virtle Bowling; siblings, Margie, Kenneth and Lois.
Ed is survived by his step-sons, Tim Tallent (Laura) and Martin Tallent (Lisa); granddaughter, Kayla; siblings, Ellis (Ann), Paul (Lois), Edna Downs and Hank (Marilyn); and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 1-4pm Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with service to follow at 4pm. Burial will be Monday, January 4th 1pm EST/12pm CST at the French-Logan Family Cemetery in Burkesville.
