James Franklin Durbin

James Franklin "Frankie" Durbin, 65, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Frankie was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

He was born on June 26, 1956, in Bardstown, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Zelma Durbin; sister, Colleen Durbin; and brother, William Durbin.

Frankie is survived by his brothers, Charlie (Kim) Durbin and John (Bonnie) Durbin; nieces and nephews, Lance (Stephie) Durbin and their children, Graham, Walker, and Chandler, Clint (Lindsay) Durbin, Justin (Ashley) Durbin and their children, Miley and McKinley, and Butch (Karen) Briggs.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Graveside Service and Military Honors will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday at New Albany National Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
