James C. Davison, III

James C. Davison, III, of Floyd Knobs, Indiana passed away on August 12, 2025. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Alleen (Baker) Davison; mother, Alice L. (Wells) Davison and father James C. Davison Jr.; sisters, Mary Lee Davison and Nancy Arnett. Jim is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife, Caroline (Geiger) Davison; son, James C. Davison IV (Kelly); daughter, Jamie ReVelle (Josh); sister, Geneva F. ("Jeanie") McCree; grandsons, James ("Jayce") C. Davison V, and Jaxon J. ReVelle; granddaughters Mollee Davison and Josanna ReVelle, as well as multiple nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was a retired employee of Jefferson County Public School system, and a member of St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church. Jim was a beloved father, a coach for several of his children's sports teams and his memory will forever be cherished.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Tuesday August 19, from 9:00am to 11:00am, with a service to follow at 11:00am, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, Southern Indiana, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN, 47150.

Jim will be cremated with his burial to take place at Bethany Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hosparus Health of Southern Indiana, 502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany IN, 47150.
