James Allen Davenport, 51, of Marysville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. James was definitely one of a kind. He loved fast cars and motorcycles as well as being on the front porch enjoying the outdoors. He also had a passion for drawing and music.
He was born on February 7, 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda (Skaggs) Herndon; and sister, Kimberly Davenport.
James is survived by his life partner, Rose Brown; father, Joseph Davenport Sr. (Linda Clark); siblings, Susan Fogarty (Anthony Muncy), Marvin Browning (Shannon) and Russell Browning; step-daughter, Casie Cortes (Miquel); step-grandchildren, Logan and Antonio.
Memorial Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following James' wishes.
