James Darrell "Jimmy" Koch, 53, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on March 10, 2016. He was born on January 17, 1963, in New Albany, Indiana, to Karl and Mary (Wimp) Koch. Jimmy was owner and operator of Koch's Auto Body Shop. He was very talented in his business and a hard worker. Jimmy specialized in classic car restoration and won several awards for his work. He also enjoyed going extreme off-roading with his brothers and friends.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sherry Koch. He is survived by his loving daughter, Leann Justice; sister, Ruth (Gary) Gilmore; brothers, Karl (Janet), George, Daniel, and John Koch; and grandchild, Kasey.
There will be a memorial visitation held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. with service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association (15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60693).
