James "Steve" Copas, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Steve was a true musician and a great drummer who lived his dream playing music and entertaining. He was able to travel and meet other great musicians and could tell stories for days about his time on the road. Steve will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was born on August 19, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to and Doris (Copas). He is preceded in death by his parents.
James is survived by a host of loving friends and family to cherish his entertaining memory.
