Jay Claybrooke, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 15, 2018. He retired from MBI

Jay was born on September 8, 1949, in Cloverport, Kentucky to the late Elbie and Virginia (Allen) Claybrooke. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, David Martin and Charles Martin.

Jay is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rebecca (Wolfe) Claybrooke; children, Patricia (Robert)Corbitt and Jennifer (Tom) Howell; his grandchildren, Tierra (Aaron) Johnson, Clayton (Liz) Corbitt, Jacob (Sharon) Corbitt,, Lauren Howell and Jason Howell; great grandchildren, Finnley Corbitt, Clara Johnson, Owen Johnson, Elinn Corbitt, and Greyson Corbitt and many extend family and friends to mourn his passing.

Jay's family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
