James Alan Caudill

James "Alan" Caudill, age 70 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026.  He was born on April 16, 1956 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Robert and Ivy Jane Smothers Caudill.  Alan worked for IGT, formerly known as Gtech for many years and was a professional photographer, where he owned his own business, TAI Photography.  

Alan is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Nan Rae Lewter Caudill; children, Carina Dacierno (David), Robin Godffrey and Athena Abell; step-children, Michael White (Jenny) and Nichole Sanchez (Justin);9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 from 1pm to 3pm, with a celebration of Alan's life there at 3pm.
