James C. "Jimmy" Hash, 61, passed away on July 1, 2016. He was a retiree from U of L postal service. Jimmy was an avid drag racer, hunter and UK basketball fan. His granddaughters were his pride and joy. One of his favorite past times was being surrounded by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Doris Hash.
Jimmy is survived by his children, Krystal (Vince) Kaufman and Rusty Hash; grandchildren, Kaleigh and Avery Kaufman; brother, Gary (Sharon) Hash; nephews, Gary Clayton, Pete and Patrick; aunts, Shirley (Bob) Holman and Rita (Donald) Durrett; uncle, Dennis (Connie) Hash and numerous cousins.
A memorial gathering will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016, from 2pm-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) with a celebration of Jimmy's life beginning at 6pm.
