James Rollin Burton Sr., 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. James was a member of IBEW Local 369.

James was born on July 27, 1957 in Franklin, Indiana to Lloyd Burton and Barbara Reynolds. He is preceded in death by his parents, and Grandchild, Austyn Ross.

James is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela Paulette Burton, Daughters: Chastity Leigh (Johnathon) Taylor, Heather Jean Roberts (Brian), and Pamela Nicole Brink, Son, James Rollin Burton Jr. (Elizabeth), Step-Father, Hank Reynolds, Sister, Joyce Holmes (Richard), Brothers, Jerry Hubbard and Coy Hubbard, Grandchildren: Camryn (Evin) Fields, Marleigh Fields (Henry), Devyn Roberts (Jessica), Gavyn Roberts, Destyni Ross, and Micah Spencer, Great-Grandchild, Piper Fields and many other family members and friends.

A gathering for James' family and friends will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in James' memory be made to Shirley's Way.
