James Ray Alford

James "Bull" Alford, 48, of Louisville, passed away on December 9, 2016. James was born in Louisville on June 9, 1968 to Earl Ray and Anna Alford. He was a retired contractor and longtime member of Rutledge Road Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Melissa Alford; father, Earl Ray Alford; children, Nick Burk, Dustin Decker, Lacy DeMarco, Johnny Caudill, Kelsey Caudill (Rodney), Jesse-James Alford, and Christian Alford; one sister, Kathy True (Terry); one grandson, Cayden DeMarco; one niece and one nephew, Brittney (Bryan) and Matthew True; two great-nieces, Riley and Kailyn; and two great-nephews, Mason and Kaiden; and a host of extended family members.

Funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Visitation from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
