James "007" Haywood Bond

James "007" Haywood Bond, 76, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. James was a loving and devoted father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He had a passion for bowling and enjoyed competing with his bowling league. He was an avid Louisville Cardinal fan and also enjoyed playing cards. James cherished his friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on March 11, 1950 in Brownsville, Tennessee to Curtis and Leora Bond. He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Bond; mother, Leora Bond; as well as a host of siblings.

James is survived by his loving family, son, Bobby (Sharonda Wade-Green) Green; brothers, Lothell (Mary) Bond, Curtis (Kimberly) Bond, Jr., Alvin (Bernita) Bond; grandchildren, Jessica Green, Letitia Brown, Bobbie Green, Bobby Green, Jr. Brandon Green; as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

A private celebration of 007's life will be held at a later date.
