Jacqueline (French) "Jackie" Staser, 79, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Jackie worked for Kimball International for over 40 years until her retirement. She was a long time member of Graceland Baptist Church. She was very skilled at repairing furniture and enjoyed caring for her flowers and plants. Jackie also loved people dearly, especially her family. Her kind-hearted nature was a blessing for others to be around.
She was born on January 31, 1936 in Rockcastle County, KY to the late Herman & Hazel (Robinson) French. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her companion, Robert Dome; son, Keith Staser; daughter, Donna Blankenbaker; siblings, Clayton, McClellan, Elvis, John, Oretta, & Naomi.
Jackie is survived by her sons, Kenny, Mike, & Mark Staser; sister, Carol Dooley (Donald); brother, Leon French; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 6 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM Monday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
