Jacqueline Louise (Stewart) Kruer, 73, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, Mach 13, 2018, at her home surrounded by family. She was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Jackie had a love for children and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
She was born on April 12, 1944, in southern Indiana to the late Ralph and Jane (Schmidt) Stewart. Jackie was also preceded in death by her son, Billy Kruer; and siblings, Donald "Roger" Stewart and Randy Cox.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dennis Kruer; children, Michael Kruer (Kendall), Cheryl Smith (Mark), Deborah Zoeller (Raymond), and Elizabeth Mosier (Lee); brother-in-law, Jimmy Cox; grandchildren, Amber Smith, Brittney Bonsall (James), Jennifer Witter (Joe), Nicholas Zoeller, Jacob Zoeller, Grace Zoeller, Brooke Kruer, Jacqueline Norman (Dylan), Candice Hornback (Zach), and Justin Mosier; great-grandchildren, Madison and Mathayus; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Chapel (5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs) with cremation to follow. She will be laid to rest privately at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
