Jackie Lee Wood. He was born on 12/5/1955 and passed away 4/22/22 at his home in Louisville KY.
Jackie was a former Jeffersontown Public Works employee for 32 years, he ran his on lawn care service and was a mechanic with his very close friend Danny Lewis. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Lonney, father, Clyde Vincent Wood, two sisters, Marie and Doris and three brothers, Clyde, Tom and Melvin.
He leaves behind his wife, Kay of 26 years, three children, Shannon, Britney and Jordan along with 6 grandchildren, Savannah Collins, Joseph Collins (Shannon), Jayden, Alyssa, Bristol & Brantley(Britney), one great grandson Kavion, sister, Jen and two brothers, Jimmy Wood and David Wood.
Jackie's wishes was for cremation with a celebration of life which Jack was no stranger nor did he ever meet one!
Family, friends, previous coworkers and others join us at The Jeffersonian formerly Jeffersontown Community Center at 10617 Taylorsville Road Jeffersontown, KY 40299 on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 6 PM to 9 PM for Jacks celebration and share all the great memories with us all.
