Mr. Jackie Richard Abrams, Sr., age 59 passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 with his loving family by his side. He was an Army Veteran and his love in addition to his family was hunting and fishing.
He was the beloved husband of Sherry Brooks Abrams; and is also survived by his mother, Juanita Burkhart; sons, James, Jackie, Jr. and John Abrams; brother, Daniel Burkhart; sister, Juanita Hensley; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral ceremony will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 29th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there Sunday 4-7p.m. and Monday 5p.m. until time of service.
