Jackie Lee Lawrence

Jackie Lee Lawrence, age 51 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. She graduated from Jeffersontown High School and served her country in the United States Air Force. She earned two marketing and business Bachelor Degrees from the University of Louisville. Jackie loved to travel, was a free spirit and had a special passion for the care of animals. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, John Blandford; her grandparents, John and Estelle Cecil; and her four legged friend, "Bear".

Jackie is survived by her loving mother, Frances Lawrence; brother, E.J. Lawrence (Trina); sister, Kim Sopland; nephews, Tyler Sopland, Evan Sopland and Payton Lawrence; niece, Brianna Lawrence; her beloved pet, Buddy; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 3-5 pm Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Jackie's life at 5pm. Visitation will continue after the service until 7pm.
