Jack D Wilson

Jack D. Wilson, 74, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021. Jack was a member of the Millwrights Local #1031 for 36 years. He was Baptized at Valley View Church, and recently attended Cornerstone Community Church. Jack graduated from Pleasure Ridge High in 1965 where he was an athlete in multiple sports. He enjoyed horse racing, fishing, an avid University of Kentucky Fan, and spending time at Rough River and Navarre Beach in Florida. Jack will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on August 17, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to James Franklin & Rosemary (Brumitt) Wilson. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sister, Peggy Stocker, and Brother, Billy Wilson.

Jack is survived by his loving Wife of 32 years, Sherrie Wilson, Daughter, Lora Deddens, Son, Michael Wilson, Sister, Cindy Milburn, Brother, Mike (Becky) Wilson, Grandchildren, Zach Deddens, Seth Deddens, Peyton (Corey) Goodlett, Step-Daughters, Traci (Joey) Wasson, and Stephanie Adams, Step-Grandchildren, Shae Royse, Austin Adams, and Carraden Adams.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. Entombment will held at a later date at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Jack's memory be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
