He was a native of Wayne County Georgia.
He retired at Henry Vogt Co. , a U S Army veteran and a member of Southwest Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Sandra Lickteig ( Billy); sons, John (Tonya) and Timothy Long; sisters, Aline Hemmingway and Louise Boatwright; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral ceremony 11 AM Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation 1-7 PM Friday.
