Ivita Mae Johnson

November 14, 1944 — May 30, 2021

Ivita Mae Johnson, 76, passed away on May 30, 2021. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament. Ivita's most cherished memories were spending time with her daughter, Angie. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Ivita was a caregiver to so many throughout her life and could always put a smile on your face with a story or a joke. She will be forever missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jodie and Elsie Higdon.

Ivita leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Angie Johnson; brother, Joe Higdon; sister, Diane (Wayne) Pope; several nieces; a nephew; fur babies, Teddy and Bella and her special sister, Linda Keeling.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-5pm with a celebration of Ivita's life beginning at 5pm.
