Iva Nell Goodman

Iva Nell Goodman, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Iva was a loving wife, mother, nini, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved cooking and she would go out of her way to help anyone. She always loved being outdoors fishing and being with her family. Iva will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on September 3, 1965 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to Charles and Iva (Goodman) Sherrard. She is preceded in death by her Father, Charles Sherrard, Mother, Iva Nell Sherrard, siblings, Libby Cortor, Faye Jackson, Norma Miller, Larry Sharrard, David Sherrard, and Charlie Sharrard.

Iva is survived by her loving Husband of 41 years, James G. Goodman, I; children, James Gregory Goodman, II and Joshua Lee Goodman; grandchildren, Lilli Goodman and Gracie Goodman as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky on January 11th, 2022 at 12:30pm

The family requests that contributions in Iva's memory be made to Kentucky Veterans Administration.
