Isaac Mwungura

Isaac Mwungura, 18, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. 

He was born on July 2, 2006 in Kigali, Rwanda to Charles and Esperance (Nyirantebuka) Mwungura. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Elias Buvunduri. 

Isaac was a senior at Portland Christian School and had a passion for Jazz music. 

Isaac leaves behind his loving parents, Charles Mwungura, Esperance Mwungura; brothers, Bonheur Mwungura, Joshua Mwungura, Joel Mwungura, Pacifique Rwigema; grandparents, Victor Mikebanyi (Ntonia); uncle, Adrien Misigaro and aunt, Clementine Kanyana. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Southeast Christian Church Main Campus FH2 (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy Louisville, KY 40243). 

His funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Southeast Christian Church Main Campus FH2 (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, KY.
