Irene Gary, 61, of Louisville, passed away on October 30, 2015.

Irene was born in Los Angeles on December 7, 1953, the daughter of the late Manuel and Conception Morales. She was a proud U.S. Army veteran and military wife who lived in many places before settling in Louisville later in life. Irene graduated from Sacred Heart of Mary High School in LA in 1971 and remained an active alumnus and supporter throughout her life.

Survivors include her children, Teresa Marie White (Anthony), James Allen Gary (Charlotte), Bryan Joseph Gary, and David Manuel Gary; sister, Maria Alvarez; brother, Joseph Morales (Jeannie); and three grandchildren, Timothy James White, Teagan Constance White, and Adam James Gary.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with a celebration of Irene's life beginning at 5:00 pm. Irene's wishes were for a colorful assembly (do not wear black).
