Inell McQuarter

Inell McQuarter, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Inell was a remarkable individual known for her strength, compassion, and unwavering willingness to assist those in need. A devoted woman of God, she was not only a caring person but also a cherished friend who offered a listening ear and heartfelt support. Inell's culinary talents were a source of joy for many, and she lovingly prepared meals for those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Born on November 3, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, Inell was the daughter of Edgar and Elnora (Knight) McQuarter. She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar McQuarter, Sr., her mother, Elnora McQuarter, her son, Carnell McQuarter, her granddaughter, Kanesha McQuarter, and siblings Edgar McQuarter, Jr., Melvin McQuarter, Jerome Knight, and Wesley McQuarter.

Inell is survived by her loving family, including her children Cannise McQuarter, Sonji McQuarter, and Lawrence (Sharita) Watson, as well as her grandchildren Shinika McQuarter, Tierra McQuarter, Dominique McQuarter, Asia McQuarter, LaShae McQuarter, Lawrence McQuarter, Sheik McQuarter, Keyon Hobbs, Alayah Watson, and Adiva McQuarter. She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, siblings Joyce Manning, Michael Knight, and Kathy Knight, best friends Elnora Lee and Sandra Bennifield, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her loving memory.

Visitation for Inell will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy. Her Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the same location.
